Tour Description
Embark on an unforgettable adventure with Captain Cook Cruises and explore the historic Kealakekua Bay and Captain Cook Monument. This small group snorkeling tour takes you on a journey through the calm waters of the bay, where you’ll have the opportunity to swim with tropical fish, green sea turtles, and if you’re lucky, Hawaiian spinner dolphins and humpback whales during whale watching season.
Immerse yourself in the beauty of the coral gardens and witness the site where the famous explorer James Cook first arrived in Hawaii. You’ll also get to visit the historic Ka’awaloa village and learn about Hawaiian Royalty.
The tour is perfect for strong swimmers who are in excellent health and physical condition. Non-swimmers can still join in on the fun and sign up for the “ride along” rate. The meeting point is at Honokohau Harbor, just a 10-minute drive north of Kailua-Kona, HI on Hwy 11.
Don’t miss out on this incredible opportunity to experience the wonders of Kealakekua Bay and Captain Cook Monument.
