Tour Description
Embark on a thrilling adventure with Captain Zodiac’s Pelagic Wildlife Excursion in Kona, Hawaii. This 4-5 hour tour takes you on a marine safari to explore the diverse habitat provided by Hawaii’s deep underwater geography. With experienced naturalist captains and crew, you’ll have the opportunity to encounter 17 different resident whale and dolphin species, turtles, sharks, Hawaiian Monk seals, various species of birds, and much more.
The military-grade Zodiac Hurricanes used by Navy seals will take you into the unknown, where you’ll witness the beauty and wonder of the ocean and its inhabitants. While this is not a snorkeling excursion, we recommend wearing swimsuits in case the opportunity arises to jump in the water.
Bring your cameras along to capture the unforgettable moments and become a valuable contributor to citizen science. Although we cannot guarantee encounters, the abundance of year-round ocean residents makes the chance of no sighting low. In the unlikely event that we are unable to run a trip due to weather conditions or minimum not met, you will be fully refunded.
Join Captain Zodiac for a unique wildlife watching experience that you’ll never forget.
